The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Track & Field team had an exciting weekend, as they put on quite the show for their home crowd at the Cumberlands Invitational.  While as a team the Patriots performed solid, individually they had a couple of athletes step up and shine.  Their hard work and success was recognized Tuesday as officials announced that Brandon Ford (Winston-Salem, NC) earned the Men's Mid-South Conference (MSC) Track Athlete of the Week while Courtney Rhodes (Riceboro, GA) was named the Women's MSC Field Athlete of the Week.  This is the first time both athletes have received the prestigious award in their careers.
